Self-Driving Uber

As the first product design hire at Uber’s Advanced Technologies Group, I was brought on to design the rider experience for the Self-Driving Uber.

Over the next two and half years, my role grew to also design products for our Vehicle Operators, and represent the Self-Driving Rider Experience needs when collaborating with third-party vehicle manufacturers and Uber HQ.

7 patents were granted for my work at Uber, and 7 more are still pending. I worked closely with Dennis Zhao, Eric Hanson, and Molly Nix.

I also designed features for the Uber mobile app to support our use cases.

End-to-end Trip Journey

To facilitate cross-functional alignment, I worked with the larger product organization and created a user journey map for the end-to-end Trip Experience.
